Much appreciated. Had nothing but trouble since imageshack stopped letting me upload pictures.

Cleaned up the raptor yesterday, snagged a quick shot on the way out the door today before it rains.

Still haven't done any cool mods, if the economy improves at some point I still need a leveling kit and wheels.

Kind of my toy, but use it for work. 94 F150. Painted it myself. Replaced all the plastic interior and exterior bits. The service box was a old power company utility box, I removed all the racks off of it and added some aluminum to tie things down on top of boxes if so be.
Transmission has a shift kit, new torque converter when I had a shop put in reconditioned 5.8 V8 that's 100% stock. A/C works awesome, cruise control, 4x4. Front end has been rebuilt, drives like new.
Need to regear it. Since putting on the larger tires it makes overdrive kind of worthless at highway speeds if there's any wind going against you at all.

not really.  my Ram came with 3.42's and they were horrible, so once I put the 37's on I just went 4.56.  4.10 or 4.33 prolly would have been better but the .56's arent bad.  1900 rpm's at 70mph.

That looks good! If done right, a set of steel wheels can look better than a lot of the more expensive, busy looking, fancy ones IMHO.

Thank you.

I love the D90 / FJ70 series look on steelies. Since I can’t afford / import those figured I’d make the look happen with the 4R.

Question for the raptor guys, what truck/s did you have before the raptor and what made you go that route.  I have wanted a raptor for a long long time and I’m in a position that I could make it happen financially and not be terribly irresponsible.  However, a diesel is also interesting to me, I don’t tow anything my current truck couldn’t handle(just a track car) I just like diesels/the performance/how they drive and kick myself constantly for selling my super clean 2nd gen ram.

I guess I have three options in the following order from most financially responsible to least. Current truck is a 2012 Sierra crew cab all terrain with the 6.2.

1)do nothing and lee my truck leaving it as is.
2)throw a proper suspension and wheels/tires at my current truck.  Would it be a raptor, no, but with some smart shopping and looking for used deals it could be close enough to a gen 1
3) raptor or newer diesel.

Leveled it with new springs and shocks, i think the balljoints are done though, getting a noise from near them and everythig is properly torqued. and getting a damn CEL thats indicating my turbo is prob on its way out from carbon buildup, guess its time to ditch the VGT system and go fixed geometry s300 series turbo and make more power and be more reliable

I only have an 18 mile commute with one stop sign, but I take a 280 mile round trip on the highway every week.  I keep it between 80 and 100 the whole way to keep my emissions equipment happy.
