Ok I'll admit it I was looking at porn so I should have know better. Anyway I got infested by some crap that I can't get rid of. The files I need to delete are all in the C:\windows\system32 file
they are
\mssearchnet.exe
\hp5c68.tmp
\stickrep.dll

these are the ones Mcafee keeps finding but I can't quarentine them, delete, or clean them.
I found them in my C directory and can't delete them because they are in use. Can I get at them in the registry and if so where would they be located?

So much for my first day off in 4 weeks. I should've gone to work

Boot up in Safe Mode.

Safe Mode does not load the .dll files into memory and the system
won't use them, so you can delete them.

Press F8 when you turn on your machine.
Select the Safe Mode option when it comes up.
Then delete the offending files.
