DVD software for window 10

I bought a new laptop. It has windows 10. I put a DVD in the drive to watch GOT. Boy was I surprised that windows 10 does not play DVD.
What software for a DVD player for window 10. Free preferably.

Every time I try to do something I find window 10 cannot do it.
