What page did you change the DNS on? Internet > Use these DNS Servers ? Also since you said if you switch to cellular I assume XYZ site isn't available on any of your devices through the router? Do you have any parental controls enabled/?
It might be easier to reset the router and go through setup again instead of trying to hunt down a solution. Take this time to check for firmware updates as well. I wouldn't recommend the addon for firefox, I assume it's a free proxy which is going to send all your data through an unknown 3rd party. ETA: I guess I just missed your edit.
