I thought the traditional Thanksgiving meat was turkey, not sausage.

A special picture for me today.
Two of my products on a wooden US flag frame I bought years ago.

Love this kind of stuff.

I've got a big backlog

I've been participating in a for-fun contest on Instagram for aviation related images this month. Each day has a theme - it really makes you think about that shots you have, and revisit stuff you may have skipped previously.

Bingo!

Here's one of the other planes that was up the same day with the toys on the hardpoints.

Ah, the life of a photojourn.

Sgt. 1st Class Wesley Bevel, 2nd BCT, his wife Jessica, and their six children, Olivia, Bentley, Gannon, Madilynn Olivia, Wyatt, and Xander, The Fort Bragg family of the year and MG Brian J. McKiernan Deputy Commanding General, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg light the Christmas tree at the Main post parade field starting the Fort Bragg Holliday season.

There are two live tv cameras on my right, and 3 Army photogs on my left. We all need the same shot. The moment the family of the year throws the switch and lights the free.
We are all in a bunch because the right spot for the shot, is the right spot for the shot. We are simi civilized here and don't throw elbows for position. there is plenty of light for everyone.

EXCEPT for a local print photog who decided to get in front of us all and shoot from the low angle. Not a problem sitting low but as the General counted down,5...4.. a camera started rising in my frame 3...2... I tried to get above it but it kept coming up 1..shoot shoot.  So I and the army photogs got a good shot of a camera and the back of a head.

I realized it in seconds, but the Army didn't till the next day.  You cant even crop that out.

Well there goes the front page.
