I'd like to do this again sometime. I had a rather high ISO and relatively short shutter speed of 5 seconds. Would lowering the ISO and making the shutter longer make the image sharper around the lights?

I haven't posted in a while, been on the road quite a bit these past couple months.
Sadly the fires are still burning / smoldering in West Glacier. Hopefully this week's precipitation helps put them out for good. Lake McDonald by Jay, on Flickr |

Rented a lens for an event on Saturday. 85mm f/1.2. Auto focus is stupid slow but the lens is still amazing.

Yeah, the DoF can get too narrow and you lose definition on your subject. Sometimes, I've actually had to back off on the aperture to maintain focus.
