Do games release timezone specific? In other words, will the game unlock right at midnight on Tues morning for us in the Central US timezone or will it be a different time?

Well, 45 hours to go now. I suppose this can be our thread for the game once it comes out, too.
Anyone that's pre-ordered and will be playing at launch, what's your first character going to be? Also, be sure to check out this animated short that Blizz put out. |

Going Barbarian. I downed Leoric a little too easy with that toon. I forsee some serious OP with that class and might as well get the most out of it before blizz changes it.

stuck on travel for 2 weeks more... trying to decide if I should by a new laptop to play on low on
anyone play the beta with a latop with a intel 3000 or amd 6380 g graphics? |

I'm just plagued with some sort of memory leak that makes my game run slower and slower over time. Restarting the game fixes it for a while. Version doesn't matter. Oh, and I'll be rolling a monk. Friends are rolling a barb and a wizard I think.

Already installing the game, 15+ gig install. Will be up at 3am east coast time when the server go live. I have tomorrow off so I will be jamming a good 12 hour plus marathon!!!!!!

Was said of every single blizzard game released. And everyone wasn't alright. It will be chaos on a massive scale. Diablo has one of the largest fanbase around the world, and yeah, it's going to be a huge launch. I would even go as far to say it could possibly even be larger than the original WoW launch....and we all know how they went. We've come a long way with technology, but I still don't think blizzard is shelling out enough cash to not have problems on launch day hour zero. I remember when the beta opened up for everyone....servers went down several times immediately, and throughout the weekend. I'd say don't get your hopes up. If it works, fuck yeah, awesome. If it doesn't....well, it's blizzard for one, but it's also a brand new launch of a highly anticipated and sought after title. Millions upon millions will be hitting enter on the password screen to enter into Diablo 3 as soon as the servers go live.....I'm like a master of all things, I am like god mode, super charged boss on crack, and even I would die if that many people hit me at the same time =P. Anyways, as always: expect the worse, hope for the best. Wait, scratch that, expect the worse, go to bed. lol. |

Blizzard has always tended to keep the requirements low in their games, the more ghetto a rig is that can play their games, the more money they can make... Now, i saw that in the CE they included buddy passes to play a free version, max level 13 to skele king just like beta...perhaps can get hands on one of those firat to see how it will run |

Have fun. OP you can change the title to Official if you want. I never thought 4 years ago when I drooled over the first screen shots (and i was still actively playing D2) that I would be going into launch with a yawn and a maybe).

I'm very disappoint they didn't allow a single player campaign mode available offline. I've been playing and re-playing D2 and it just makes me sad I cant play D3.

It's installing.
The game is connected to your BattleNet account. Said something about going on to my account and activating it there before it would let me install. I just logged on to my account and poked around a bit trying to figure out how to activate it. Next thing I know it's installing. |
