When I lift weights i can go good for about 3 weeks then I just dont have the energy for anymore and end up taking a month or so off before starting a again.  I dont do any cardio but was thinking that may help me out and may start it soon.  What do you think could help me?  FYI im 21 years old 5'9" 155lbs

How many times a week are you lifting in those 3 weeks?  Do you think you're overdoing it and getting burned out?

I tried to lift 3 days on one day off but usally ended up being every other day.  I dont think I was overdoing it, by the end of the workout I could feel it pretty good but I could of done more.

Are you splitting up body parts or doing wholebody workouts?  You should only hit each body part once a week.

Only two possibilities.  Not enough food/rest.  The other is you are lazy.

Have you thought about visiting a physician? A friend of mine has a blood condition that causes him to have a lack of energy on certain days.
