anyone know anything about this guy?  sammyfranco.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc

i've heard his name before, but i dont' remember where.  he is starting a self-defense class close to me.  i just wanted to know if it would be worth attending.  is this guy the real deal?

He was a flavor of the month in the MA mags 10 years ago along with Tony Blauer , Kelly McCain, and some others, back when MMA was getting popular, but hav'nt heard much of him for quite a while.  Very, very commercial.
