OK, that's pretty freaking awesome.

And, it's also a stat that I had not considered tracking -- Lifetime Miles. 15K is jaw-dropping.

Super low-key "race" this weekend. 9.3-ish miles from a small town (wide spot in the road) in western OK to another small town (slightly wider spot in the road). Should be interesting as the last half is forecasted to be directly into 20+mph winds and maybe some rain.

Battled the stomach flu and extremely windy weather the last month or so. Finally getting warmer but still windy AF.

Ran a neat point-to-point 9 miler today. Fun, small race, but the 20mph headwind for the second half sucked.

Yesterday’s stats

9.1/1,014.
This is the earliest I’ve crossed 1,000 miles for a year I think.

Heading to Phoenix on Saturday for a work conference. I'm sorely tempted to switch my LR to Sunday so I can run it in the desert where there's no humidity.

If you end up running at Talking Stick Resort, go early and ignore the signs disallowing runners around the golf course. I don't recall whether the water stations had anything in them, but there are stations for the golfers. Oh, and be cautious of the coyotes. I was tracked by a pack that had split. They didn't get closer than about 200 yds, but I first noticed them at much further out. When I started seeing workers on the course, I lost track of the 'yotes. It was weird.

Nice!  The past few days including today, the humidity in the mornings have been between 20% and 40%, but it goes down into the single digits during the day once the sun comes up and burns it all away.  I start my running between 4:30am and 4:45am and try to get done by 6:00am when the sun comes up.  It's the coolest time to run with temps between 55F and 65F on average.

Stay away from I-10 by I-17, probably closed this weekend for construction (see the ADOT website).  Traffic sucks by the airport.  Well, it sucks in general here. lol :)

Enjoy your time here! :)

I strongly encourage this.  Also, bring water.

2.0 w/ pupper and better half; trail hikes down at the lake can be really fun even if the rocks are hard on the recovering heel

Running in Arizona was absolutely awesome, typically about 65° and 30% humidity. First run back in Oklahoma: 56° with 99% humidity. Gross.
