Recovery day.

I'm strongly considering joining a training group put on by my favorite running store. First workout for that would be Tuesday.

I skipped a long run over the weekend due to a myriad of excuses. This morning was incredibly slow, but I slugged through it and nearly two episodes of Star Trek.

Run was delayed this morning by a few hours due to rain.  Might have to buy a lottery ticket for tonight's drawing. lol :-)

I get rid of any shirts I have this issue with, but I still use these for races:

Group workout yesterday evening went well, though the timing will throw a bit of a wrench in my usual week. I'll get it figured out, though.

I have those too and when I don't I use clear waterproof Nexcare bandages.  Since being on keto, I need to get smaller sized running shirts as the ones I've been using for a few years now are getting to loose on me.

I'll be back out there tomorrow with one or the other in use.

Thank you!

I went in and made my previous runs from the year public, currently my running program is minimal (intervals 2x a week, long run on saturday) but starting in Feb I start working in longer events. Should be fun!

I'm still trying to talk myself into The Woodlands Marathon on 3/6. I'm a few weeks behind where I would want to be with the training program, but far enough along (and experienced enough) to think that I can "finish". Only 90 spots remaining. I just don't have the drive for it that I did last year. We'll see how I feel after a good, long run on Saturday. The longest I've done recently was 12 miles. At this point last year, I was doing 14-18 every weekend. I need to decide soon; it's past time to break in new shoes. This pair has most of last year's 1K miles.

Best of luck to you, mate! After Dallas in December 2019 and Cowtown (Ft. Worth) February of 2020 being 20*+ warmer than typical for winter I've sworn off going to Texas for a marathon no matter what time of year!

4x 800s after heavy squats today. Moving at what felt like 80%, came it at 13:30 total. Track and field athlete I am not!
