I’m in as well. Looking to get to 500mi this year. I’ll be doing maintenance runs until the weather warms in late March, as my throat hurts a lot while running when temps are lower than ~30F.

Do my hikes count also?  I could call them trail runs.

This originally started as a “run / walk” challenge.  I count my hikes; especially because I like to hike for its own sake but I can’t run three miles and then do an eleven mile hike.  I have to choose one or the other.

I figure everyone is coming at this from different levels of ability.  Set your own goal and strive for it.

I am able but don’t have the time to do both. Hiking gets me out with my wife who could never run with me.

Added another mile walking the GSD puppy, leash training. He's 4 months old, and his training has been great so far. I can't wait until he can run a few miles with me.

After the long run on Saturday and not eating well on Sunday, I really didn't feel like moving on Monday. Most of those 3 miles were walked. This Sat should be another long one.

Thanks, but it took a long time to build up to that. Two years ago I was doing the same 9.3mi loop about every day, and moving to a slightly modified 10.1mi loop instead wrecked me for nearly two weeks until I got used to it.

There's a break in the water main just down the street and at the start of the new running path, so my entire neighborhood has been without water since yesterday. There's one new house being built at the other end of said running path ~3/4 mile away, so I stopped by there on my run for my daily constitutional.

Shooting for 1000mi this year and on track so far

I’d like to run 4-5 days a week but I am not going out if it’s below 40 because I’m a huge vagina

Ran 7 miles today

I've been using the garmin coach just to get back into a structured running program. I have 7 more weeks of that then am switching to a different effort to focus on the 27k mountain race this fall.

5, 5, 8 per week with a little extra here and there. Alternating between zero shoes and running shoes. Really seems to wear and tear different areas in a good way.

It was a 50k, but that's what Garmin gave me credit for.  I realized that I was definitely not ready for a 50k but a good cardio base with leg strength exercises can get you by in a bind.

I don't count my walks - at least twice a day for .5 -1 mile with my dog, but it doesn't bother me if you do.  I'm too impatient to walk 1K in a year
