My first true workout in months. Felt really good, but I'm likely to pay for it in a day or two. |

Just because. There was a fundraiser that I ended up doing virtually, and I was going for 30 miles but this is the highest I have ever done and it took a toll about 17 miles, but I was far enough away from the truck I had to keep going. 20lb ruck. Quoted: Very nice... I've upped my distances a bit, but not like that. Good job! Thanks! It sucked. It was a ruck, 20 lbs and was store supported, as I needed something I just bought it lol. I have slowed the running almost completely, getting the miles in rucking now. according to Strava I need 80, took today as a recovery day and planning on getting going again tomorrow. Planning on every day except Christmas; Christmas Eve and the Sunday after are going to be bigger mileage days, but not marathon days. Hoping for 15+ on those days, and probably going to be boring flat miles to get them in. |

Yesterday 5/1234.63
Today 4/1238.63 Was really aiming for 1300 but it's doubtful at this point. I'm stuck with treadmills and elliptical til the 27th. Still an overall good year though. |

23 DEC 2020 2/696.75 I also did about 6.25 miles of XC skiing on the 23d that aren't factored into that count. 24 DEC 2020 6/702.75 Before today's run I was able to get in just under 5 miles of XC skiing. Today will probably be the last day of that for a while. |

I finally "got it" after I started logging my info and seeing improvements. She seems optimistic that the new site will help her improve. I checked it out, and it is oriented to plus-size women which my wife is not. She has put on a little weight this year which makes her identify with them, though. I'm not complaining; I just want her to be healthier and happier. |

I ran for the first time today since getting the 1st dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (on Sunday). Even though my side effects have been minimal (injection site soreness, foggy feeling the first night), I have been feeling more tired and less energetic for the past couple days- so I have been holding off.

My wife won't join ARFCOM, but I'll brag on her that she hit it again today and logged about 1.5 in the rain. My miles were on the treadmill, about "2 episodes of Star Trek". Despite the running hiatus that I took during the spring due to the pandemic (which in retrospect was a stupid choice on my part), I still exceeded the 700 mile goal that I set for the year last January, even though I didn't quite hit the 725 target that I set earlier this month. I also exceeded the mileage that I ran last year (2019) as well, so I am happy about that. |

Well hunting, weather, and motivation conspired to slow me down this fall, but I kept at it enough to pass 1k. I haven't been in here in awhile but thought I would do an end of year update.

Just scrolled through the thread for the last month or so, looks like a bunch of records and PRs. Great job everyone.
