Things are going nicely. I will have a nice buffer when the really hot weather arrives in July. |

Who is in charge of the challenge on Garmin Connect? I am pretty sure it's counting my biking miles along with my running miles.

View Quote 7.11/417.48 Rucking has slowed down my running, so probably going to rest tomorrow and get some running in this coming week |

Run cut short due to the East Desert fire that's raging about 12 miles from my house. Difficult breathing. |

It wasn't bad at first as there were pockets of good air here and there, but when I got to the main area where I run - 5 km loop, it was worse, so after one loop I had to head back. I had to stop and walk the rest of the way after realizing that I couldn't breath as deeply. They have the fire about 50% contained this morning and the wind is blowing in the opposite direction from where I run, so it was so much better this morning. Yeah, it sucked running yesterday. lol :) |

Edit: Garmin has me at 599, Strava at 605. I'll stick with the number on here. |

I haven't logged any miles for over a week. I had surgery last Tuesday and am recovering. My wife and I did go for a walk down to the lake on Monday. Round trip was less than a mile, so I didn't bother logging it. It was an interesting hike. Some of the locals decided that it was a topless beach. No land whales, pics, or complaints.
