Also in.

I haven't seen op in this thread recently. Does anyone want me to throw together a phase 1 results thread with a poll for the winner?

We can figure out a prize if people want that too.

I'm throwing together stuff for a voting thread, and it's going to look something like this. If I've missed anyone, please let me know. If you'd prefer I use different pictures than the one I chose, please let me know. If I've put entirely the wrong name on pictures, let me know. Etc, etc.

The_Hammer , I'm not actually sure which picture (if any) is your start for this year, since I can't find an initial entry post. I'm not sure if I should be claiming the 270->198, which is huge, or if there's a lower number, since this is just from January.

I'm counting 8 7 complete entries. For the winner, I'll ship out a 30-round PMAG (if legal. If not, we'll maybe work something out?). If anyone else wants to throw up a prize, feel free.

Note that pictures should be viewed in either left->right or top->bottom fashion, depending on who took them. All sets (if multiple images) will show side-by-side if your screen is wide enough.

ModernDayIsraelite: 229->226, lost 3 lbs, apparently recomped a LOT.

Current weight is 174.5
I am hitting the weights 3 times a week
Squat
Bench
Press
Deadlift
Making gains 5 lbs at a time.  My lifts are probably what alot of guys warm up with .
I have upped my calories to put muscle on, but I am doing so in a clean way (still following a ketogenic diet with high fat and 50 grams of carbs or less).   Calorie intake is around 2600 calories now.  I may have to up the calories even more?  Still walking 5 to 10 miles every couple of days for fun.

174.5 still.....
Did sprints this morning with a 20 lb weighted vest.
Lifts are getting stronger......along way to go still.

Are you serious?

In the first picture, your stomach is hanging over your waistline and down by several inches. In the second, everything has contracted and tightened up, and your waistline is mostly where it's supposed to be. You've done great!

Just found this post. My progress so far this year:

Start around April this year.
Start weight: 285 (I was getting pretty big!)
Weight after Keto diet for 4 months: 260

I started running a month ago and I am up 1 mile at 12min/mi pace. I am also starting some strength training, mainly dumbbell workouts at home, with the running.

I stalled out on keto. But because I am doing much more physical activity, I am switching to 500 calorie deficit macro meal planning.

Still doing starting strength and getting stronger.  I upped my calories and I only do a couple of days intermittent fasting now.  Lightest I got was 168 back in September.   I am 184 now and look and feel better.  I am trying to put as much muscle on by 12/31/2017.

Too many injuries and too much dietary fail.

I'm out on this one.  Great job to those that actually made progress.  I'm at 238 right now.  I lose this competition big time.

Maybe next year.  Are we starting again next week?
