Looking like some form of it.

This is all on her. She was given a workout to do as a team but decided to do the whole thing solo.

On her way to acute care now.

Damn shame too. That CF stuff is really working for her.

Hurt my knee on tuesday, heavy front squats.

Well, back up.

On FRIDAY, I got hit by a fucking car. I was walking out of costco, carrying all my groceries because I'm a man and no I don't need a box. Well this old fuck was pulling out of the lane, turning left, looking right, drives right at me not looking at all, i basically dive out of the way just in time for his sideview mirror to clip my left hip/buttcheek with enough force to collapse it. Old fuck waves at me and drives on.

I feel fine, go home.

Squatting tuesday my left hip is wound tight AF and I definitely start favoring it in my squats, but keep driving anyway. On front squats (3x3@370) I start getting some consistent pain on the outside of my left knee and call it.

It persists very mildly today. Hopefully be better by next week.

Gonna shoot for the 1200# club at the end of the month, i want that T-Shirt...then it's time to cut. 111kg is about 11 too many.

Some 9/11 Hero workout. Lots of volume, followed by a long row. Her boot camp group uses almost all kettle bells. She was getting close to transitioning to more barbell work. Her squat and deadlift are solid. Probably need to take a break now.

And yes, CF is da debil. But it sure works.

When I was in high school and getting into lifting(like a tard btw) my elbows got so tight it was excruciating to extend my arms. Went to the dr and told me I had tendinitis. Been a battle ever since, I'm mostly winning. It is good that it doesn't seem like you wife got the rhabdo. But it definitely sounds like an overuse injury. Longevity is a key factor in getting good in strength sports and being able to reap the benefits of them. This is why learning how much you can recover from is vital. I have this battle with my wife constantly since she got into lifting. Luckily she ends up sort of listening to me typically or admits she should have when she sucks on her next main lifting day.

I hope your wife feels better soon.

Thanks for the well wishes, fellas.

When I met her she was a runner who had been told she needed knee surgery. Little by little pulled her over to the dark side, and now CF is her own journey. She is stronger than she has ever been and really enjoying pushing the limits. Like all of us, she is going to have to develop some discretion, and learn what her personal limits are.

GLad she's ok.

FYI, previous athletes are the most susceptible to rhabdo as they are able to do more than they should. Her cardio level probably allows her to way harder than she should actually do.

Well fuck me. Turns out things were not as clear as she was led to believe yesterday morning.

In the ER receiving IV fluids and resting. Her creatine kinase levels were four times at what is considered serious disease, but those results didn't come back until late in the day yesterday.

Glad I pushed her into going yesterday. In typical female fashion she was just toughing it out.

Rhabdomyolysis for sure.

Sorry to here it man. The book I mentioned to you awhile back, The Plant Paradox, specifically mentions helping people with RA through what they eat and don't eat and it even talks about rheumatic heart disease. The author is a real deal heart surgeon, not some random quack.

Keep us posted and good luck getting things squared away.

I'll definitely order it.  Thanks.  My wife is getting shoulder surgery as we speak at UVA.  3 different tears completely missed by our first shoulder specialist.  Instead of surgery she was sent for 10 weeks of PT.    Asshole doctor too.  Now the major tear may not even be fixable.

That really sucks. My wife saw her regular doctor today and he was pissed that the first doctor she saw on Friday sent her home with ibuprofin. Like the exact wrong thing to do for someone who was having massive renal issues. Thank goodness the ER doctor on Saturday morning in knew her ass from a hole in the ground. I fucking knew that first doctor was full of shit and blowing her off.

I hope you and your wife are able to find answers to your problems. It can be so frustrating.

Thanks.  It took my wife a year and a half to get to the right doctor.  We had to GTFO of WV and go to UVA before getting the correct diagnosis.  Now they are sending me to a rheumatologist and I said send me across the fucking border please.

yeah well it works for me for now and up until last refill it was cheap.

I am disappointed my doc isn't pursuing a root cause more aggressively. I have secondary, not primary, which means my 'nads aren't the only thing being impacted. ugh. whatever.

So my knee feels better but not 100% so I skipped squats and went to deads:
Conventional:
2×430 [45,45,45,45,10,2.5]
1×440 [45,45,45,45,10,5,2.5]
1×455 [45,45,45,45,25]
Beltless:
5×2×360 [45,45,45,10,10,2.5]
Sumo:
3×3×380 [45,45,45,25,5,2.5]
2" Deficit:
3×6×335 [45,45,45,10]

GOOD TIMES ALL AROUND. Felt strong and fast. I love deadlift. Hopefully I am not destroyed. Inzer belt is really difficult to set up with though. Or maybe it's my fat rolls that make it difficult. I dunno.

Congrats on the bear. You using your M1 again this year? I leave this Sunday for Texas for aoudad and possibly javelina.

Been taking it a little easy the past two weeks. Trying to evaluate myself and asses what I need to do to be stronger but also thinking I just want to lose some fat.

Lotta folks are broke.
Hip feels horrible, bursitis comes and goes periodically. Squatted 250 x 5 and stopped because of the pain this morning, felt light though.
Court case with the EX was finalized on Monday so now I can focus my energy more on training.
Going to spread out my recovery time so I will squat 1x per week, for now. I'm going to take 2 weeks off for vacation, no lifting at all, should help in recovery.
My wife told me that I should spend more time hunting this year because I deserve it-
My conditioning for the next few months will be the hike to my hunting grounds.
Anvil- Good luck on the hunt, don't forget pic's.
