R.A.K. (Rifle Armor Kit) is a critical response platform for quick deployment over plain clothes or uniform to add rifle armor protection.

Rifle Armor has been in deployment primarily for military and law enforcement special tactic unit purposes for defeating long rifle and larger caliber and higher velocity rounds for many years. Today, there is a clear and present danger in domestic urban or rural settings to use rifle armor to provide the much needed and desired protection capability that simply is not available in level IIIA or less soft armor solutions on the market and used by almost all law enforcement.

Soft armor Level IIIA which is the highest rated threat level for soft concealable and tactical armor whether on patrol or deployed for SRT/SWAT missions is typically of a Para-Aramid, Kevlar, Polyethylene or hybridized nature and is designed to defeat handgun threats up to 9mm, .357 and 44 mag. With the real threat of long rifles in the form of AR15, AK47, and various hunting style rifles utilizing common .223, 5.56, 7.62, .308.30.06 and other high velocity and penetrating rounds, soft armor simply is not capable of stopping those type of threats and therefore the need has arrived for considering rifle armor upgrades to provide the only protection capable of defeating these threats.
