I am looking at a 220 Swift for purchase that is shooting a great 4 shot group and the 5th is always a stray. This recently started. The owner has not continued to see what the outcome would be with continued shots. Maybe I am just overly concerned because it is a 220 Swift, he purchased it 2nd hand and therefore has no idea what the shot count is.

He said he cleaned the rifle, this time used a copper cleaner and by description, it needed it. This didn't correct the problem.

SO.. Wondering what the signs of a worn bbl are. It is out of state and I cannot inspect the bbl.

Thank you for any help.

Steve
