As title says, anyone have some real world drop to validate the bc nosler is advertising?  Considering switching over from 77 in my 16", would get me just past 800 supersonic.

ETA:  Does anyone have a 70RDF they could measure or provide a drawing I could use to model it in QuickLoad?

Interested as well, I bought 500 from Nosler on a special deal. I love the 69's for my carbine, but if the new 70's are as advertised, I'd switch to them.

I second the level of interest. My 1:9 heavy barrel Savage 223 never really liked the 75-77 gr stuff, but loves the 69 SMKs and some Varget. I definitely want to try out some of these 70 gr RDFs if the BC is actually up there at 0.4

Litz put the G7 at .197 and G1 at 385

I have the G7 on the 77 at .193  Not much difference, I guess the question now is if we can push them faster than the 77.  Using the Litz number provided by TeeRex, the BC matched barely exceeds the Hornady 68 but it is slightly shorter.

Does anyone have a 70RDF they could measure or provide a drawing I could use to model it in QuickLoad?

0.898 -- Sierra 69 SMK

0.980 -- Hornady 75 HPBT

I've been using a G7 of .208 and have verified out to 1000 yds. I may have to adjust the BC up since I was hitting a bit higher on the 1000 yd  target.

I'm shooting a .223 Wylde bolt action rifle with a velocity of 2965 fps. I was consistently hitting a .2 mil size target at 870 yds.

Load:
Benchmark 22" barrel
26.4 gr CFE223
Nolser 70 gr RDF
Remington brass
CCI400 primers
.030 jump

Thanks.

Interesting the note that the BC seems accurate contrary to Litz number.

Anyone else have any experience with these?  Particularly loaded to magazine length?

Bump.

Anyone else tried these in the last month?

I have some coming in but in 6.5, I've heard they are not jump sensitive. If they do well I'm going to order some 70's b cause the price is right compared to other high bc bullets.

Please share your experiences. :)

When I finish up with these 77s I will be shopping just curious for what.
