Was just about set on getting an AR Gold for a precision rig I am building... then ran into the Timney Calvin Elite.

I like it. Have Geissele HSMM, SDE, SD3G, Elftmann 3Guns, Hypefire 24E, and Rise 535. The CE is my favorite single stage. Measured mine at exactly 1.5lbs.

I was comparing the Hypefire to the AR Gold, was going to go AR Gold - It appears you can adjust the AR Gold which is nice, and the low end being 1.8lbs. Bit of a non-conventional 1911 pull profile. the CE being non-adjustable but 1.5lb. Single Stage. Seems to be some pros/cons to each. I am looking for a really nice, almost bolt gun like trigger.... |
