Got some American Gunner 140 grain BTHP to try out in my rifle. It likes the match and precision hunter,  but thought I'd give these a try.  Hope they work out well.  Anyone else have experience with these?

I should mention my rifle is an AR10 pattern rifle.

Another member of this forum named Finslayer swears by this stuff. I've used Hornady Black 140 OTM and it is very accurate. It seems like the same thing from a casual glance. I can't find any AG in person or else I would buy and test it out.

Thanks for the reply.  I'll post my observations after a trip on Sunday. My rifle doesn't seem to like 120 A-max so I thought I'd give these a try.

Got all I need to do some reloading,  just have to get a place cleared to setup. Downside of having a small house

Wile E,
That Federal AE is good stuff.

My AR10 in 6.5CM likes it, I have shot it out to 600yds and it will hold sub moa.

This is out of a 20in BA 8tw barrel.

I've never tried this load, but the 140gr bthp is what I use in my Creedmoor and it's a great bullet.

Hornady American Gunner and Hornady black are the loads. Ive shot them side by side with exactly the same results. Hornady black is slightly cheeper.

My RPR loves the stuff. With the Hornady match 140 ELD-Match a close second.

Shot a bunch today.

My rpr loves it both with the oem and now PVA barrel.

Here's a 5 shot group at 100y.

Was windy today so I stayed on the 500y line but was 5/5 on the know your limits rack 4x in a row. It's got 5 swingers that go 3moa, 2.5moa, 2moa, 1moa, 1/2moa. So that's 15", 12.5", 10", 5", and 2.5".

For under $1 a shot you can't beat it.

Today's setup.

My rifle liked it. Last group I had. Distance was 100 yds, breezy but flags not too bad.

Everything is finally dialed in pretty right on this rifle right now.
