Rebarreling savage 110 caliber options

I have a .30-06 savage 110, looking to rebarrel in a higher BC cartridge. I am looking at 6.5, 7mm-08, 7mm rem mag, etc. I hate to waste that long action potential. I am relatively new to precision shooting, and I dont reload. Any suggestions?

If me, .280 Remington, same bolt head, 7mm bullet for BC, same feeding from mag.
