Just got back from the maiden range trip. I'm impressed. I'm definitely not on top of my game and the setup was far from optimal, but it was still sub MOA. I got zeroed (and it is close enough for short to mid range steel work with the cheap magtech when zeroed for the 140gr ELD's.) I shot some 1" shoot n see pasties I put up. Dinged each one just fine.
I think I'm going to get along with this rifle just fine. I was debating what scope to put on for now and decided it was too appropriate to NOT put the Vortex 6.5-20. So at least for the foreseeable future that's the pair. |

Anyone adjusted the trigger yet? I'm thinking about trying to turn mine down just a little.

The weight seems comparable but there’s zero creep with the TT. |

Its not OK, just not wanting to spend the money on a new trigger yet. Just make sure you torque the action back to the stock properly |

Got my shim kits in and put an SD Tac mini titan on to let me mount the can. I didn't do any exhaustive testing but accuracy seemed just slightly worse without the can but then tightened up once the can was on. It also felt and sounded GREAT suppressed. It's an 8" x 1.5" diameter F1 can with 60 degree clipped cones. Absolutely a pleasure to shoot that way and I may have to make a dedicated can for it.
Again, don't wanna say it was less accurate with the mini titan on there, but for the few shots I did that was the general impression. I was mostly re-verifying zero and making sure nothing was weird before I put the can on. Yes, I know, there are much better options out there, but I can't find anyone who wasn't a long wait for the mount to fit my tube. I'm actually going to be removing a Q Cherry Bomb from a rifle to put another mini titan on. Such is life, it was available, the "superior" options were not. |

Well the Creed knocked it over and it was too muddy to get the Jeep too. |

Got this the other day. Unfortunately the only ammo I had was some xm118lr and it shot pretty terrible. Hopefully I can find something decent soon so I can get it zeroed in nicely. |

Thinking about picking one up in 300wm. Should I?

Scheels by me has a used 300WM HMR for $750. Didn’t really want the HMR, but seems like a good deal. Anyway to swap out the stock and make it a little more hunting/hiking friendly?

Just joined the club. Here’s my new-to-me HMR in 308. This rifle basically checks all my boxes for what I wanted in a long range/hunting rig. Can’t wait to get it set up and take it to the range.

Finished the paint and clear coat today. I’m a sucker for a rattle canned precision rifle.

After an expensive trip to the gun store (NF steel base, steel rings, and Harris Bipod) and some more paint, she’s basically done! I will eventually buy a break of some kind, but that’s down the road a ways.

What height rings are you BMP owners using? I'm not sure if low rings will work, because of the cheek piece. Planning on using ARC M10 rings.

Got an HMR in 300win, just started to break in the barrel, got a VG6 on it and mild as my 260. If it can get close to my 700 308 at .5moa ill be happy.

Local shop had a premier hmr pro in 6.5 and I promptly purchased it. The action is amazing and the rifle looks awesome.
Ordered a close out gen 1 pst 6-24 FFP mrad from euro optics for 450 until I can get some better glass. Got a seekins 20 moa base, dies, bullets, and some brass coming as well. I’m going to try some berger 140vld and some 142smk for starters with RL16 and H4350. I scored 1k cci br4 primers today Attached File |
