Just got back from my local dealer and he has some CA762ssal/re flash hiders on hand. You know the hard to find ones that go on the XM3 rifle.

Here's a link to them.

Called Alan Brown today to check up on the build since I last called in July or August, says he is extremely backed up and working half days because of the health issues he has had. Wanted to assure me he didn't run off with my parts or died though haha. If anyone is wondering how backed up he might be, I'm been waiting a little under a year and a half since I sent him the parts July 2017.

Alan has been working on two MK13 rifles of mine since March 2017....    If you sent him parts less than 18 months ago,  no point in calling for an update.   As folks receive rifles would be good to post so we know how the queue is progressing.

You guys really know how to kill a guys day....that just raped my bubble. Oh well...I guess I'll spend the money I had saved on some other awesome toy and then come up with the cash when he calls and says "Uh Dude. Im bout to work on yo shit".

Are the new Marine issued MK13 Mod 7's running RC2's or the original RC's in FDE?

People were saying it was around 6-8 months when I sent him the parts. I'm honestly not mad at all though, It'll be worth the wait it to get done by the man himself. I just wish I knew it would take this long or i would have started the can transfer already, instead its sitting on a form 3 with High Caliber Sales. Thats more my miscalculation though.

Either way it gets me more time to grab other stuff like the Scope, tripod, spotting scope etc.

general question though, are the NF ultralite Rings for the MARS rail the 1.375" version if you want to line up with a clip on NV?

Since it was Thanksgiving, I took my daughter to the range for some trigger time...they grow up so fast.  Anyway, once I got her settled behind the gun, we started engaging targets.  She hit 200, 325 and then with the help from two other shooters spotting, I had her go for the 725 12x24 target.  After a couple adjustments, she hit it on the fourth shot.  Dad was impressed.

Great photos man, I wish I had those camera skills. Maybe I can start saving for a decent one now that I finally found an H58 NF. Of course would still have to be after the chopped Recce and a good spotting scope.

And sorry to keep badgering you with questions about stuff, but where did you score the RAPTAR?

Mainly for when you are having a hard time finding something in your scope.  You can just put the dot on it and then find it easier in your primary scopes field of view.

Any of you guys know what an XM2010 marked Leupy mk4 M5 is worth? First time seeing one and I have no clue what to do with it because I have no plans on building an XM2010. It's still new in the box, the factory plastic isn't even broken.

On the bright side of the wait for my build is that my range just got their SOT so at least I can use my MK11 can as soon as its form 3'd over from HCS once Alan is done with it. Even with Alan matching the barrel to can, the POI shift is non-repeatable right? thats why most people just leave theirs on?

Correct.
Mine is .3 mil high with suppressor. Repeatable
.5 high and .5 right with suppressed cold bore. Repeatable

But Im using the M110 can on mine, which I've heard mating isn't really a requirement, but au sent it in for my build anyway.

My S&B I have set for -0.3 mil bottom, which is zero for unsuppressed.

I know the cloning game isn't cheap but I about fell off my chair when I read the email from the supplier on them.

So the mod 5 and the mod 7 use the same tool?

Because I gave the supplier a part number that I had found for the mod 5 so I thought it was just for the mod 5?

If others are interested, send me a email with the mk13 tool in the subject line. If I get enough interest I'll see how many I can get from the supplier.

Recently picked up this LA chassis, i put it next to my SA one and i noticed the differences in the skins. The SA has more modern looking cuts on it, is the LA a different generation or something?

Thanks usnguns. I've read the specs on it but I've never seen a picture of it in service. Just want to make sure it's a real gun used in the military before I try cloning it.
