I am looking to get my 9 year old her first .22. If feasible, I would like to get an "adult" rifle and mount a "youth" stock on it. This way, as she grows, she can keep the same rifle.

I am looking for a rifle with the following:

-Bolt action
-Magazine fed (tube or box)
-Youth stock available, the youth stock can be from a third party.

Does this exist?

The stocks would need some modifying to actually be useful for youths (~10yo) instead of "youths" (~16yo), but the Ruger American Rimfire, CZ 455, and Savage MkII work well.

Ruger American Rimfire Compact Model #8303. It has a stock with replaceable buttplate and comb combo with 12.5" pull. Low comb for iron sights and high comb for scope. For $20 ea you can buy the replacement buttplate  with a 13.75" pull, again high or low comb and make it fit an adult. The compact model also has an 18" barrel. Look it up, it's a very nice little rifle.

I bought one for my son. I'm now eyeballing a full size version. Good stuff.

Still too long for most 10 year olds.

Boyd's has less expensive stocks for RARs. Looks like it could be cut down, and have two holes drilled with threaded inserts so the cut part can be replaced.

Depends on child. I have an 8 yr old grandson and a 12.5 LOP fits him just fine. Old school check, with arm bent at 90 deg angle measure from inside of elbow to middle of trigger finger for LOP.

CZ 455 scout should drop in a CZ 455 American stock.  The previous 452 modes had a handfu of different inlets and action acres layouts.  That was silly and thing they fixed in the 455 series replacements.   I have a 452 scout, it is a youth stock not a child stock like the crickets.

Easy enough to find out, Cabelas carries the 8303 in stock.

I just chopped two inches off the stock on my old 452.  My son outgrew his Crickett.
Buy a 455 and chop the stock to the length of pull needed.  When it's time, buy another 455 American stock for $150 as a replacement.

Ruger American Rim fire compact. My daughter has used one shooting 4H and done very well.  With Eley Club it shoots excellent groups.
