Receiver stripped and polished
CPC bolt
Volquartsen  trigger that has been re-polished and tuned - very nice
Green Mountain 24 inch heavy barrel
Mueller APV
Since this photo was taken I have switched to a Power Custom scope base that is also screwed to the barrel
KIDD rear tang
I'm still using a factory Ruger stock since I shoot wrong handed and haven't found a lefty stock that I like. Stick at SG&Y hogged it out to fit the big barrel for me.

Photo taken with a potato

Yes, it's a fake can, I live in CA

Edit: Hopefully my gun qualifies for this thread, I've never posted in this sub-forum before. If not, let me know and I'll delete

One of my absolute favorite rifles to take with me.    I've plugged data into my ballistic app with about 8 different ammo variations.    Nothing more fun than shooting rock chucks at up to 300m.   11 MIL's of elevation, at 8000ft on a 65F day.

Found this at a recent gun show.  Its an Izmash (Russian) CM2 Cadet.  I intend to instal a scope and do some trigger work.  Should be able to control the local Chipmunk population with it.

Savage MkII FV-SR
Cheap 3-9x40 scope (looking to get a PA FFP 4x14 mil/mil for it soon)
Cheap bipod
Homemade kydex cheek riser

Best grouping so far at 100 yds.

About 70 yds. Had to hold about 2 mils with the cci quiets which normally I'm about 1 mil low at 100.

The TACCOM barrel on this thing prints jagged one hole groups at 50 yards w/ CCI Standard Velocity...  day and night  Aside from a few dud rounds, not a single malfunction yet either.

Beginnings of happenings...
Out-of-the-box CZ 453 American.  Need to get some optics remounted and get back to the range.  Been way too long.  I plan on keeping this as stock as possible, and do a lot of shooting, reading and learning before making any decisions on possible changes.

edit for clarification... possible changes are dealing with optics if what I currently have needs improvement.  I plan on keeping the rifle itself as-is.  Maybe threading for a suppressor later down the road.

My CMP 40XB.  This one I just had to degrime, steam a couple dents, and rub a new oil coat on.  She was pretty cherry.

Now on the other hand the 52C I got from CMP was fairly scabby.

I did get her cleaned up, but it's definitely refinished and sanded in spots that were gouged.  I tried to keep the stock lines intact and original looking while sanding.  Not perfect but I think I did a passable job. I couldn't leave her scabby looking.   I used some coloring and finish that I feel mimics the old Winchester finish of the era.  She's a touch shiny but not near as bad as the photo looks.

Should have been clearer.  I don't plan on being that drastic.
Might be looking at a picatinny mount, better rings, better scope instead of the standard .22 rail, CZ rings and tasco scope I have now.  Maybe.
