The USO is correct but the NF is a 3.5x15x50.

The multi cam is factory GAP hydrographic dipped. The top rifle is a Predator Custom Shop build and the bottom is a GAP Gladius.

I was reading Sniper Central one night, after a couple of adult beverages, and decided I could beat Mel at his own game.  With Remington's rebate, I was sure I could come in under one of Mel's $1200 entry level long range rifle packages, plus I needed a cheap test bed for some DIY gunsmithing.  I failed at beating Mr. Ewing, but gained alot of experience, and for no more than what I have into it,  she is a shooter.

I have been more than satisfied, and I do not know if I will upgrade anything on it, yet, or not.

It's a Remingtion 700 in .300 WinMag with a 26" H-S barrel . The rest of the goodies are a Near 25 moa base , Spuhr mount , Zeiss Diavari 6-24x 56 , Hensoldt sunshade ,
CG trigger , Atlas bipod with spigot mount and of course the AI 1.5 stock . The stock work was done by Jeromy from Dimensions .

Shooting it for first time sighted in:
http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y277/TheyCallMePavz/?action=view¤t=VID_20110527_120858.mp4

Been in the works for almost a year now, and still needs work, finally got to shoot it.

Howa 1500 .308 20" Bull Barrel
Hogue Rubber stock
SWFA SS 10X
Harris Bipod
Howa Pic rail
Burris Extreme Tactical Mounts

Thats it so far, for the future:
Bell and Carlson Stock
Maybe a new bolt handel
and possibly a small red dot on a 45 degree rail coming off the pic rail, for close up shots

IDK, well see

So far im pretty happy with it once I got it zeroed, which took me a little while (first scoped rifle) but its worth it.
Maybe Ill try my hand at a semi auto gun next.....

1919, it's a US Optics SN-3 3.2-17X44.
Heck of a scope, actually better optics than my Nightforce NSX 3.5-15X50 and that is saying something!

Ok not quite Precision, YET! Buying a Nikon buckmaster and new mounts to throw on top once I get paid at my new job.
I'm feeling the symptoms of "Black Rifle Fever" and I may get that before I get much farther on her.
Specs:

Cheap Simmons Scope and mounts
Only shot surplus ammo so don't know her true potential yet.

Weaver Rings

Knockoff 6-13" Bipod
Made my own bean bags with old wool hunting socks and a bunch of leftover pinto beans. (Not shown)

No, the objective lens end does not contact the rail.
Yes, the scope is set a long way back. It has to be for comfortable eye relief for me. I would prefer it even a little farther back, but I'm at my comfort level with the mount.

TO DO:
Eagle stock pack
Badger knob
Midway Shooting Mat (Or an old sleeping bag)
Reloading equipment
Thread barrel for can/brake, get a can!

I sold my AR to fund this ( ) and it's a budget hunter/paper puncher.

My tweaked Remmy SPS....I need to get some low profile rings, as this scope came from another rifle.  Then all it needs is a new bolt handle and perhaps either a SureFire break or a can if I can justify the paperwork.  Most likely I'll switch to a 5-round mag.....this one is a tad obtrusive.

That bottom rifle is simply a thing of beauty. Makes me wish I went with an A4 instead of an A5 for my next build.
Oh well, guess I'll have to build another one.
