I thought so 10 months ago, I'm not that sure now. Wondering if anyone has delt with them recently?

I know a guy that picked one up about 2 months ago, so you should be good to go.

Any idea how long the order took? I was told "About four months", It Has been ten. With No End In Sight.

I think he got the 4 month delivery speech and got it within a couple weeks of that.
If it's been that long I would be calling every day until I got an answer. Even if they lost or misplaced your order they should let you know. Have you spoken to Dave at all? |

Yes, and the conversations always end up reminding me of something akin to "Judy Garland" "On The Yellow Brick Road"................. Off To See The Wizard! He never has an answer, just another stall, delay , valid reason! I'm considering a trip to Florida to see his shop. A long trip from Alaska!

Well, that really sucks ass!
I would still ask for an exact delivery date or a refund! That and some SWAG for your upper to help you forget that you had to wait so long. Can't hurt to ask and I'm sure some smalls will put a smile on your face. |

All Im lacking for yours is a firing pin and barrel" DATE 10 MAY 17 "I can make the remaining parts in the next two weeks." "Yes and believe it or not I do take my job seriously. Ill put on my list to get a balance invoice to you but it might be this weekend or Monday before I send it." At this point in time I think I would be asking for my money back! If you're getting attitude and it's been almost a year, yeah, the time has come and gone.
And ask for it in a pink envelope! |

I can't sort out he huge delays on these things either. The only thing I would consider at this point is an AR50, BA50, or a Barrett. At least those are in stock. All these other companies either make 1 per month or do it as a hobby.
ETA: Add State Arms, I had a great dealing with them, but they are not really in stock. |

He Will Not Refund, Period. He Says It Is "Finally" Ready And I Will Not Just Send More Money Like I Did A Year Ago. He Won't Or Can't Take Take A Credit Card. So A
Friend Is Driving Up From Marathon On The 25th To Pick It Up And Ship It To Me. Quite Frankly Scarlet, After A Year, I Do Not Trust The Prick At All! |

PS: I'm Going To Sell It As Soon As It Arrives!

13 and a half months, I finally settled for an upper I was originally quoted could be done in 30 days! It was not the barrel I ordered nor the paint job I paid for!
"Theft By Deception" a Federal Felony, accepting money and NOT producing goods or services! It took the threat of filing charges with the Osceola County DA and a trip to St.Cloud! |

So, got a pic of your new upper or did you sell it?
Really messed up situation and the fact that it had to come to an end like that. I've never met Dave but he always seemed like a stand up guy. This won't help him at all, he should've gave you a refund and an apology 12 months ago! What was the final outcome or can you talk about it? |

Nice looking upper, to bad someone else will get to enjoy it.
Are you still looking to buy a .50? Hope this doesn't hinder you looking to get in the game. There are plenty of .50 manufacturers out there that can fulfill your needs. |

I'm sure glad to know that somebody, somewhere has received something from this guy. I ordered a 50cal upper from David Moore on Feb 2, 2017. I have sent multiple emails requesting updates and always have received the same answer as everybody else ... 4-6 weeks more for delivery. I have visited his shop in St Cloud Fla on 2 different occasions and have never seen him working on anything and his 2 CNC machines were idle both times. This last time I visited I looked around and he had a bunch of receivers done but I didn't see any of the barrel shrouds, legs, bolt bodies, or barrels. It is my understanding that he can not get barrels. I suspect he has burned through his money and nobody will ship him any without the cash up front. It is now March 22nd, 2018 (13 months) and still no upper and no answer to my last email which was sent about 10 days ago asking for an update. I have seen that he is selling off personal weapons (for ridiculous prices I might add) to possibly raise the funds he might need to get barrels. This has been the most frustrating thing I have ever had to deal with. He will not refund money under any circumstances and as far as I'm concerned is nothing more than a common thief. I have retained an attorney and plan to sue him for the deposit $1,500 as well as attorney fees. My attorney also plans to pursue this with some local TV station advocate there.

How did your story turn out with your suit if you don't mind me asking? I just bought one from a pawn shop with a DPMS lower and 200 rounds of API for 2100. I'm looking for a scope for mine currently (I posted a thread here on what I bought). I'm still waiting to see if they are any good or if I got junk. Hopefully it's a good weapon even if the owner isn't.
