I'm having a great time with a Trophy Taker Smackdown.  Very silent.   I bought it a couple years ago and didn't like it at first, but went back to it and fell in love.

I have two QADs and they always smack the shelf on my bows when I have them tuned to centershot.  I have to make the nock point like 1/2" over the berger hole in order to keep them from smacking.  The bows will shoot good like that, but it just bothers me too much.

The flipper in the Smackdown hits two rubber stops on the bottom of the capture cage so it doesn't make any noise.  It's also limb driven (off the bottom limb) so it doesn't mess with the cam timing any.

Good luck with it, the QADs are about as good as they get if they don't smack the shelf and make noise.  Definitely do the lipstick test on the vanes to make sure it's timed correctly, and also not kicking back and hitting the vanes.

I've tried them on two PSEs and a Hoyt Vector 32.  The Hoyt almost has enough clearance.

Interesting.   Matthews does the same thing.

You can also mount the rest rearward, further away from the riser, which pulls the prongs back from the shelf some and this will help with clearance (but I like the rest sitting up against the riser for better strength/stability).   And/or as I was saying before, raise the nock point and rest higher, so the arrow shaft is sitting higher than the Berger hole.  It'll still tune and shoot good that way.

Good luck.   Let us know how it works out for you.

I just put some velcro (the fuzzy stuff, not the hooks) on the shelf and it is totally quiet with the QAD

I put mole skin on the shelf and the QAD is quiet.

I finally have my perfect set up.

Mathews Switchback XT, I love this bow, not the fastest, but small, quiet, forgiving.
QAD Ultra Rest HDx
Trophy Ridge pin site with the vertical pins,  it just naturally works with my eye much getter than horizontal mounted pins.
Slick Tricks
FOBs
Scott Little Goose single cam release.
