I haven't even begun to hurt it yet.

Have you tried single-bevel broadheads?  With their rotation upon impact, I'm curious how much extra damage they would do to it, or –– even worse –– if it would trap the broadhead and pull the broadhead/insert out of the shaft.

if I want to leave it outdoors in new england, how will deal with the weather? I would keep a roof on it but it would be exposed... I don't want to roll it 40 yards down range each time I want to shoot it

how hard is the target on the arrows. I am shooting a very light easton bloodline that has broken a few times hitting dirt on a short shot and a few times inside block targets.
will I be nuking them on the blob or is it comparable to other targets in arrow life.

To be quite honest, I've never had the target damage an arrow. When I first got it, I was shooting Victory Archery V-Force HV arrows –– which are the most brittle arrows I've ever seen.

That is great to hear.  My father and I plan on picking up a few sometime this fall and expect to put some serious abuse on it.  I've shot out 2 block targets and a glendel deer target in the past 3 years alone and am looking for something that can take 30,000+ arrows a year.

Seems like a great product, I'm new to archery but it's a plus that your local. I'm in Ringgold but I drive to Rome atleast once per week.

Man, I would have to greatly reinforce my target stand to put one of those on top of it!

On a different topic, how does the blob handle expandable broadheads?  I know the Blob won't be damaged, but what does it do to the broadhead?  I'm looking at some that penetrate first and expand once inside the body.

The two mechs I am going to use don't have practice heads.  I guess I'll just have to use something else for broadheads and get a blob for fieldpoints.  I need something that will last through 3 people shooting at it.

I'm not so much concerned about the Blob handling the mechs as I am destroying the mechs.  I'd gladly use the Blob for my fixed blades and fieldpoints, as I need something that will last through myself, and two sons shooting.
