I can't decide between a Glock 34 or M&P9 Pro. I have shot them both stock and I can shoot both of them just fine with no complaints.
I am not looking for a response that says "Glock" I want to know why one over the other. What has a better trigger upgrades? Sights? Cost of race gun upgrades vs the other?
I'm not looking to put an optic on this pistol.

After market goodies are plentiful for both. Triggers, sights, mag wells, on and on for both. All the goodies are about the same price for both. I personally prefer the ergos on the M & P, so I shoot one. I'm left handed, so being able to switch the mag release was important. My son shoots a 34 and he prefers that. Does one feel better in the hand to you? Have you shot either one or both, if so, did one give you a better feel, accuracy?

I have shot both side by side. I like the grip a bit better on the M&P but other than that they are both fine.

+1. Of particular importance for me, the M&P points the same as my 1911s and other handguns, so switching between various platforms is seamless. The Glock points high for me so is not such a good fit. YMMV.

I shoot an Open Glock in USPSA and 3gun. Love the gun. But, if I was buying today, I'd buy an M&P. Just prefer the ergonomics of it. And the APEX flat faced trigger is hands down better than my Glock race trigger. When I bought my Glock, the M&P race gun parts were few and far between. Now they are everywhere. I also prefer the metal magazines of the M&P.

I already ordered the M&P and my apex trigger should be getting here a day before my M&P does.
