In atlanta 3 gun (3 gun nation club series rules) we usually have stage rack besides dump barrel. what if after shooting long gun competitor abandon in stage rack other than dump buckets. Should we remind the competitor to move the gun in dump buckets or we DQ because firearm was not abandoned on the dump buckets?

Don't know what rules they operate under - ask the MD. At my match it would be a DQ for unsafe abandonment. Our ROs don't coach shooters other than beginners at club matches... big matches = big boy rules.
