Just wanted to drop by and say Hi to everyone.

I've been shooting for a long time, but only recently got into shooting firearms in competition (shoot quite a bit of archery tournaments when I was younger).  I don't think I'll ever quite be in the top of the score boards, but really looking to improve.  My main two goals are really just to improve my practical shooting skills, as well as to have fun (I've had a blast at the last two matches I went to!).

My wife is even going with me to the next match cause she wants to give it a try.  She already has a rifle and pistol and shotgun, but she is a little intimidated by the whole thing, so we're just going to walk through some stages together while I shoot.

Depending on how large your organization is, it can be fairly informal so your wife shouldn't feel intimidated.

Again, depending on size, chances are there will be another female or two shooting as well.

I tell people remember the old adage:  slow is smooth, smooth is fast.  Go slow, don't make any mistakes try not to miss, speed will come.
