I’m about ready to sell my house and move down here lol, probably the coolest thing I’ve ever done. We definitely could have had a few more if I would have shot better. Glad we went with two nights, can’t wait for tomorrow. Can’t recommend these guys enough

Man that black hog looks like someone has brushed him like a show pig. He is shinny! Composting the first 1,000 is fun but then it becomes work!

The Black and yellow pigs are cool.  We don’t hardly get any of those.

4 down last night. We hit a couple more for sure, I don’t think they could have made it too far into the woods.  The big boar was a tough son of a gun, took 3-4 shots and two 9mm from Max. Overall trip was a blast. I wish I would have done more days, going to try to get a couple more in before Max goes to Alaska I’m the summer. Will definitely be flying next time though, the drive back today was rough

Very nice! Hogs are tough critters some get bummed over any you lost in the woods.

Colered pics from a feeder at my lease for those that like them

Got a whole pile of them there, that’s going to be fun! Got another buddy talking about going to Texas some time this year, so I’m going to shoot for that

Do you do any yote hunting in Ohio?

That would be awesome but I don’t. I live in the city, not too many places to try around here

@smid

Congrats! Looks like you had a good time. Definitely going to keep HogSWAT in mind.

What part of OH?

I finally got my hunter's ED after years of dragging my feet and have been looking at hog/coyote here in OH.

Sounds to me like you need to buy a small tract of land down here close to public land. If I was to keep all the public land pictures we get it would fill a super computer.

I’m in Cincinnati, we went to Georgia for hogSWAT. A little bit of a drive, but definitely worth it

Booked a solo go around for the end of April with hogSWAT again, they're costing me too much money. Have another buddy wanting to go to Texas and we were looking at rattlesnakehill outfitters if anyone has heard anything about them. Would have booked HogSWAT for a third trip but there all booked up on the other dates were looking at

@ZW17, what’s your coyote setup? We were at a family friends over the weekend and they were saying they’d love for someone to shoot coyotes on the property which peaked my interest

@Smid

I run a Pulsar Thermion XP50 thermal on an M4 with a Foxpro Shockwave game call.

You don’t need a thermal to kill yotes. I’ve called them in, in the middle of the day on a $125 game call.

Night makes it a lot easier, and a lot more fun though.

Predator hunting is challenging and a lot like the game of golf, the more your practice the better you get. I love learning how to do it every time I am out.

That’s very surprising about the day time hunting. I watched a few videos while waiting for a guy at work and they were also out during the day. I’d love to have a thermal but I just don’t know if it would be cost effective for me being in the city and hardly using. Do you hunt your own land, or go somewhere?
