Don’t know what he grabbed .   Didn’t ask , but will .  I don’t use 300 much personally if that’s what you’re asking .  Tried in the past and found not enough difference over 556 to justify cost .  Shoot them in the face and anything works

They're pretty chunky! I wonder how many tons of corn it took to make them that fat?

Guy runs a trip feeder on his place. He feeds twice as much as he should, and spreads it randomly over whole place. So there’s lots wasted on not feeding the cows. Suggested feeding in more central location would help , but he’s assured me he knows what he’s doing......

Have some people with real bad hog issues. Completely demolished their 3 acres of beautiful grass and flowers, harassing a dog and Grandkid. Had to get serious and put up the Jager Pro. First night out (last night) I cleaned house. 740 lbs of destruction.

God this boar about 1/2 mile away from that trap a couple weeks ago.

562 yards across a pasture. He was mingling with some cows and standing right by one when I popped him.

Below the ear, behind the eye. 115gn Nosler RDF from Prime 6mmCM. He just folded up and dropped.

I want this one next.

Bear at the same camera.

AIAX with Proof CF 6mmCM, KAC UNS LR A2, Wilcox RAPTAR, Attila 200, Hensoldt ZF 3.5-26, RRS tripod.

We have a ton of bears. Not only in the mountains but on the coast. There is a coastal season and a season in the upstate. They are commonly seen seasonally down to Abbeville Co along the Savannah.

Starting to see lone boars. No sows with squealers yet.

Last night's application of Pig-B-Gone.

Both were hit with Federal Premium BTHP Match ammo, because I have quite a bit and it's accurate.

I told the pigs it wasn't a "hunting" bullet and they didn't listen.

Not sure what it does internally, but it doesn't come out. They were both dead within 10 yards.

What’s oal of your setup, and how much does it weigh?  I kinda toyed with idea of setting something up like that to shoot from porch

Do you get out and chase them too, or just like stationary better ?

LOL.

This is the first time I've had pigs on camera on this property. I also got a fish in the same location.

Tmm1270, my scope is due to arrive tomorrow.

I pumped. It's too bad I will have to use it as a scanner on most of the land I have available to night hunt on. It's not shotgun rated and Lavon and LBJ don't allow rifles.

Stupid TX public land rules.

It depends on the unit but both the ACoE land at Lavon and the LBJ grasslands outside Decatur can be hunted at night.

I only have access to <500 acres of private land.

We have a ton of bears. Not only in the mountains but on the coast. There is a coastal season and a season in the upstate. They are commonly seen seasonally down to Abbeville Co along the Savannah.

PSA .... if recoil from 556 “hurts your shoulder” , please don’t post in this thread ....

2nd PSA , don’t forget to chamber a round before trying to shoot pigs, it will result in ridicule. EVERY time we think about it while we’re out

I can't say anything, I've had the dreaded "Click" instead of Bang. Didn't put a round in the chamber.  I was lucky not to spook the hogs. Slipped a round in the chamber and went to work
