hinking.gif maybe i have spent way to much time inside those chem suites (not a maybe, i have) and seeing someone wearing one without being ordered to made me cringe a little. I wont go into details about my hatred for it because it looks like it is working well for you. btw, nice birds |

Man I am so ready to get back into the swing of things.
Opening Day 06- I'm in the middle  Opening Day 07- I'm Red Cap  Last day I hunted in 08 had a real special experience- Killed two geese with the two shots out of my double barrel Ten gauge and killed two Ducks with one shot with my Bennelli shooting 3 1/2" 2 shot!   |

Just spent a few hours out hunting. My partner has the boat blind at his house and since a hour's drive for a couple of hours hunting is not really feasible. I went to a public hunting ground right outside the city.

I've been lazy, so I'll just give you all my bird hunting photos from this year in one post!
Here was Pheasant hunting out in eastern Colorado. I limited (3) and my buddy get the other 2. thats his chocolate lab. I have a English setter but he will be 16 in March so hunting isn't the greatest idea for him!:   Only got to go Goose hunting twice this season so here was the first trip. I got 3 and my buddy got 2. yes that is snow in the one picture. took that when we were done. We hunted in a pretty good size snow storm by the time it was all said and done. VERY cold!   Here was the second trip which happened today 2-10. I limited and my buddy got the rest:      That is all I have for now! Hopefully more next year! |

Weighs 21.5 pounds, has a 10.5" beard and 1.25" spurs. Called him in
around 6:45 and put him down with my Mossberg 535 at 40 yards.

This was from opening day for quail 2006. My son was 3 and went on his first quail hunt with me. I got one pretty quickly and he was very excited about it - he'd even brought along his toy shotgun so that he could help me get some birds. It was even raining really lightly that day, but that did not dampen his spirits at all. Now he's 6 and makes a great hunting partner, especially when he always tells me "Great shot Dad!"
