According to my log book the last time I shot this rifle was in 2000... that's right, seventeen years ago... too long.

I'm making plans for June 2018 and God willing I'll get my first taste of PD shooting.

Part of the plan is to upgrade the glass on two rifles, my Ruger 77VT in .22-250 being one. I scored a like-new in the box Leupold Vx-III 8.5-25x50 for $525 shipped. After ordering and getting some 30mm rings from Ruger... I hit the range with some 17-18 year old hand
loads.

Rifle shot great with the 40gr. Nosler BT's. For the PD hunt though I'm stepping up to 55gr. bullets, hope they do just as good.
