Nice buck!  That's a great shoot too with a 300BLK.   At 175 yards that bullet is starting to drop pretty fast.   Well done!

I have a friend in MO that was explaining the regs to me. Y'all really make the "Alternative Weapons" rules work for you. Good job.

I've shot a lot of them that size-not much to them but they don't disappoint on the plate!

Actually have deer chops from the deer I posted earlier in the thread thawing for dinner tomorrow. Deer, onions, green peppers and potatoes.

Some great deer in this thread, congrats all!

Gotta love venison in the freezer, and horns on the wall too!  Even the years I don't get either seem to be a pretty good time.

Been after this guy for the better part of two months now. He's not impressive for most of the country, or even a little further north, into GA, but in Florida, this is a fine deer.

And this morning, God blessed me with the biggest deer I've ever killed. I worked all night and changed and went straight to the stand. An hour later, this guy walked out, after being nocturnal for almost the entire season.

Nice! Might have gotten him just in time. Don't know about your area but they're starting to drop antlers here. Just saw a buck tonight that only had one.

Put a camera out looking for hogs and this guy showed up. Yes, I put the camera on a deer rub, it's on a game trail and I though hogs might use the same trail. I was wrong. No hogs when I pulled the card. It's to bad this property doesn't allow deer hunting.

Don't know where in IA you are but I've been trying to get photos of a very similar monster in eastern Floyd County. Posted land but have seen him from the road. Also have a very nice 10 pointer on my inlaws' farm(Howard County) that survived this year's season-my brother in law kicked him up pheasant hunting a week before Christmas.

Thanks. It worked when I posted it and then it stopped working for some reason.

Never thought I'd see a TX public land deer that big.

Nice work. Great to see success pics still coming.

I was checking stands the other day, and looking for a spot to put up another one. Already getting the itch, and the footprints are EVERYWHERE.
