I pissed a guy off in TX the other night. He was complaining the lake he lived on was down to 10%. Asked what kind of lake, he said drinking water and irrigation.
I kind of mentioned that would happen trying to grow crops in the desert. His reply was short and he left. |

As far as shaming ANYONE on ham radio for something they have NO control of, it's just plain wrong.
He didn't order troops into Ukraine. Putin did. Most likely he wanted no part of it. I go on the air to get RID of religion, politics and all that goes with it. It is the one place I go to be an ambassador of goodwill. |

If you don't want to talk to someone of a particular country because of the country's actions....don't. Shaming or harassment is not what Ham is about. Shame on those people who did it. Not DX, but there is a POTA station at K-0149 (Kenai National Wildlife Refuge) on 14.328.
eta: Almost forgot... I was using a quickie 20-meter dipole I put up 5 minutes earlier. It's not even a good match (Yay, LDG AT-100ProII  ), but it worked.eta 2: nvm. He just got run off the frequency by a Net.

I guarantee my radio has never transmitted while I'm asleep since I always turn it off.
