Wow, W2NQ/7 on 14.207 chastising someone, sounds like possibly because the other station doesn't speak English well (can only hear one side) after asking several times what kind of antenna they were using

You may be right. I had some noise and I don't copy so well from too many years with a gas cutoff saw.

There are several stations in the Caribbean and Central/South America working CW right now.  I guess they are still there from this past weekends SSB contest.  So far I've picked up Aruba, Curacao, Costa Rica, and Suriname.  12, 15 and 17 meters.

So spin the dial around, and see who you can get.
