Theres the antenna I rolled this week.
https://gitlab.com/cbowman/uv-moxon-yagi-antenna/-/blob/master/readme.md#aluminium-bar-stock-lengths It's kind of a pita on the plastic parts due to no real 0,0 to base locations of all the holes. The conversion from metric to a real measurement took some time. MM's? WTF???! It does perform well though. My first contact was 5 watts across the city holding it in my hand and talked to a friend 25.1 miles (per QRZ) 2 meters FM. I got a S0, but full quieting and 100% easy copy. The repeater after was just a bit farther (24.7 miles)and quite a bit higher. I was receiving it full scale and got 599 reports, full quieting. |

6 to 10 people on the net the couple times I've gotten on. Just a suggestion to try and generate some more interest.... Post up or take suggestions on topics for for the net ahead of time so you get a little direction for the net. Maybe that will generate a little more traffic. Also, friday night is a crappy time to have a net. Maybe a thurs night or wed night would be better when people are not going out.

Echolink kicked me out of the system again. Can't even log back in anymore. It's been a very unstable app, to say the least.
