Round bales are illegal in CT....
Our governor says cows have to have 3 SQUARE meals a day.

I have no idea what that is, sorry.

Probably a dead field animal. We got these all the time in our bailers and choppers. I've seen whole deer in them before.

Looks like it got hot. That will happen if its bailed too moist.

No idea. I have never seen that before. The whole dead animal in the bail makes sense tho. How bad did it smell?

The various wrap systems have become really popular around here in the past 5 years or so. Before then folks were burning down barns or placing it on the edge of fields to rot before trying to feed it.

It drawn air and the water settled and made algae. Pull it off feed the rest if the cow's scour a little mix some bentonite in their ration. About 4 oz to the cow. Try to feed your wetter bales first. If you got quite a few put feed grade ag lime out along with their salt. It acts like an antacid.  Wait till you find a whole bunch of maggots that's a good clue you got a critter.

Don't feed balage or silage to horses or you will have a bad day. Or moldy hay.

Yes that's why I was asking. He really didn't say what the bale was or what he was feeding it to.
