Used the 1025R to pull the dump trailer around while doing some cleanup along the woods edge by the road.

We removed a few more small trees to give the azaleas more light & open things up a bit.

You should have seen it when we moved in 7 years ago.  It was an oddball unsold 1.1 acre building site next to our place.  Downed pines (old ice storms) that looked like jackstraws, a really nice crop of poison ivy & a liberal distribution of briars. Any place sunlight got through was filled with cedar & gum tree saplings.  We bought it about 4 years back to preserve our privacy buffer & started cleaning up.

Found a big azz yellow jacket nest, after a stepped on it a couple times and drug the disc over it twice trying to line up the pins, 2 of 3 pins installed

I got stung 4 or 5 times as I ran like a whinny bitch away

Wifey "suited up" Winter coveralls, two top layers with extra thick hoody, and I even taped up holes for her  (She said they smell my fear and since I was "marked" with pheromones from previous attacks she went to turn off tractor)

Afterwards, I got her a glass of wine and I ordered a bee suit top w/hat/ screen cover, Wednesday I have to retrieve tractor, (we couldn't find the hole last night to pour gas into it , so I will suit up and drag the disc into the field and deal with them later

Good wife

I will move tractor Thursday after work (in new bee suit) and she said she wants to fill hole with a couple gallons of gas (Hole is about 1-1/4 diameter, that explains millions of bees) , wait 10 minutes and light them on fire with a Molotov cocktail

I said OKAY as long as it's a plastic bottle

Yet another load of "stuff" out of the barn.  This has been the hobby of three of my tractors all summer.  The B and WD taking turns with various trailers and wagons and the WD-45 on its mounted platform.  Lost count of how many loads but not many left.

Sadly the wife told me not to be in that area and she was not home so I had to get the kubota out quickly. I grabbed the Russian tractor (that has a fuel line leak. Ran back 1/4 mile to get some duck tape and back again. Then the tow strap snapped and I ran back and forth another 1/2 mile with some chains and got her done.
Russian sank a bit but the 4x4 pulled the kabota and brush hog like like a toy.

Drove the Russian back and ran back another 1/4 mile hopped on kubota and drove back just as wife was getting home and wanted to know what happens since I was covered in mud

My "tractor" recovery was a little less exciting yesterday...

The MIL let the lawn get a bit out of control, so I didn't see the tire-sized hole until I was in it. Knocked the drive belt off the transmission pulley too.

Not a tractor in the traditional sense, but did some pulling today.

A few weeks ago a storm uprooted two of my maples. I'm not an expert on lumber for boards, but one of them was very straight, seemed like maybe a good candidate. Thought I'd at least give it a shot, bring a guy I know in who has a sawmill to take a look and see what he thinks.

The trees are on a semi steep hill with a trail not too far uphill from them running along the side of the hill. No room to pull with a tractor where they are. Picked up a used Columbus-McKinnon 1.5 ton chain hoist/puller off Craigslist. Using that to pull the logs up to the trail, then I can use a tractor from there. Cut one 10' section and got it up to the trail tonight. Worked out alright, but pretty slow going. The puller has maybe a 12-15' chain, had to reset it maybe 5 times.

It's impressive the one my Bil built would shatter a cross tie if you hit a big enough rock. It worked best with 4" schedule 80. It would curl the end on schedule 40.
