I recently purchased an older Gulfstream bumper pull with a 13’ slide out.     The previous owner was a permanent spot camper and there every weekend basically so the slide stayed out all the time.      Here this Nov I’m going to winterize and crank the slide inwards (non elec).     Any tips on what to grease or look for prior to doing this?    Our first camper and I just want to be prepared.   It has the cranking handle that you insert from the outside and looks gear driven.

    Thanks All.

A drill will work with the right fitting.  Be sure to brace it from the ground.  The older trailers really need them.
