I hunt for Morels.

Here's some pics of my finds.

2017 was a lean year around here. 2015 and 2016 weren't much better.

These were only the first ones I found in 2013, I probably found four times as many.

2011 was a great year! I found a lot that year.

Just east of Minneapolis. Lots of oak and pine trees. Looked to be growing directly out of the earth, not wood.

Morels every spring at the lake house - kids gather them and trade to the "fishing lady" who tells them where the crappies are biting.....its a fair trade as they won't eat Morels but gobble down the crappies

I've been looking for a class on mushroom identification, but living in a dry coastal desert doesn't afford many opportunities for mushrroms

I hunt mushroom hunters.  They get lost soooo often.

Please, take a compass and rain gear when you are out.  and tell someone exactly where you are going..

Good advice.

But I don't have that problem, I hunt in areas I know very well.
