I have a 20" Rem 700 5R, threaded for a suppressor in a Hunter 700 stock and a Timney 510.  Scope is a Vortex Razor HD 5-20 FFP.

Longest range i can ever imagine shooting on is a 600 yd.

If i ever find the time to do some hunting, this would be the rifle I would use.

What is a practical zero for this rifle?  I'm thinking 100 yards with a 0 MOA scope base?

I have a 20 moa base on it now, but I'm realizing that was probably a mistake for my purposes?

With that scope, just zero for 100 yards. Dial up for anything over that.

Don't over think it.
