I'm looking for a scope with greater then 10x zoom, due to having poor eye sight. Preferably with a mil dot reticle, and I have an 800$ budget for the scope itself, not including mounts or rings.

What will it be going on? What is the max distance you want the scope to be used for? This will help get more responses.

It's going on a 6.5 Creedmoor. I'd like to use for punching paper/targets as I work my way out to 1000 yds. I would like to buy a scope that's capable so that I am the only limiting factor.

1)  What's the budget bracket?

2)  Don't worry about the MD reticle.  You'll be concentrating on the intersection not a hold over...
if'n you're doing it right.

3)  A)  Got 2 grand:  nightforce nxs 8-32x56 moar-t
    B)  Got @ 1 grand: sightron siii w/reticle of your choice

I'd check EE for deals from fellow arfcomers

Currently there's a really nice 3.5-21x50 Bushnell mil-mil in Larue mount asking price is $950

I'm no way associated with the seller but I do buy a lot of stuff from our community.

Cameraland is well known for their "demo" and "open box" scope deals. Saves you a lot of money and scopes come in basically brand new. No need to worry about warranty buying like this with Vortex as they cover everything all the time with the VIP warranty.

x2 on this ^^. Got my Vortex Razor from them for a heckuva deal. Decided to upgrade. Didn't lose a dime when I sold it.
