I know 750 yards it's not too impressive but it still provided me with a sense of satisfaction to connect repeatedly with that steel plate (the one on the right):

This rifle started out as a Stevens 200 many years ago.  Here is what it looks like today (flanked by two ARs):

Nice! I'm thinking about picking up a Savage 11 in 260.

Here is a Savage 260 I got off the EE. Still need to decide what scope to mount up.

Nice, I have a Stevens 200 action that I'm planning on building into a 6.5 Creedmoor.  Got the action, a B&C stock, and AICS compatible bottom metal from CDI.  Just trying to figure out what I want for a barrel.

Sagillman is correct, it is a B&C Medalist.

The scope is a Vortex Viper HS-T
Trigger is a SSS competition trigger
The barrel is an er shaw

good shooting! gotta love savage's it's like a grown mans LEGO. my .308 is built off of a steven's 200 action as well. had AGW spin me up a 18.5" light varmint off of a douglas blank. i've taken it out to 954 so far. only got 6 hits out of 25 rounds but that was me. I still have alot to learn about the wind. was barely missing on both sides of the plate (2/3 IPSC) at 800 I was drilling it 4 out of 5 shots consistantly and 600 is boring!

I'm starting to play with the heavyweights 208 amax and just bought a box of 225 eld-m's to try. if I get a solid load with the 225's and at least 2450ft/sec it should be supersonic to a mile where I shoot. I bought a long action for a donor. if the heavies pan out i'm going to screw the .308 barrel on the long action and get a b&c tac stock so I can put my ptg dbm I have laying around to use.
