I have a Remington 700 Sendero in 300 win mag that I bought back in 1998 I have kept it the same since I bought it. I was considering selling it and getting a GAP hospitallar in the same caliber or should I just upgrade my current rifle? The only thing I see that would stay the same would be the action if I were to upgrade.

Personally I'd sell it and buy the GAP.  I had a R700 trued and barreled and although it's a fantastic shooter I wish I would have started with a custom action.

If I could do it all over again, I would also opt for the custom action vs having work done on a factory action. After having all work done on the R700 action, I spent the same amount on work for the action than if I were to just buy a custom action.
