@Thiswildadventure

I’m calling you out from the precision rimfire forum.

“Don't let my pessimism spoil your fun. My $340 Ruger 8334 will shoot .8 MOA at 100 all day.  If I was paying 3X the money, I'd want better results.  That's just me.  Looks like you're shooting small groups and having fun.  That's what matters“

Should I start keeping an eye on the bear pit now as well? Y'all got me interested in taking my FVT back out and seeing what I can put down with it.

Lol just shoot have fun and make honest claims.
I have a home range and am lucky in that I get to shoot thousands of rounds a year. Between that and seeing results posted by serious rimfire shooters it’s easy to see BS
Every .22 I’ve owned would put down some killer groups from time to time.    Consistently is a whole other conversation.

I probably had one too many white claws before that statement.  .8 MOA at 100 all day.  Lolololol.  Need to learn to keep my mouth shut.  Apologies to both you and @SuperJlarge

I went out and shot a bunch this weekend.  I'll post my targets.  It was not anything to brag about.

Any 22 w/ magnified optics, 50yds:

SuperJLarge: Bergara B14r, SK std +, Vortex PSTII 5-25 scope: 6 groups instead of 5. Groups .391",.319",.311",.218"", .215” and .078= .255" average/.5235=.486 MOA

Dialed up before firing the 6th group but used a different lot of ammo that impacted a bit lower than anticipated. Let me know if I need to reshoot.

I don’t ever shoot 100 yards, but here’s 13 shots into 5” at 600 yards.  There were two sighters fired, corrected off the first(4:30 on the 10-line) and second was inside the group.  This was shot with my iron-sighted .308 from prone with a sling; no bipod, sand bags, rest, etc.  Is that worth anything?

Thanks to all the sponsors of the GA HTF MOA challenge #6.

I was able to put up a .474 moa average.  Came in second behind SuperJLarge (for 2nd year in a row).

Don't have any pics of the setup, range, etc.  I was worried about shooting instead of picture taking.

Maybe next year SuperJLarge will show mercy and let someone else win.

I shot factory ammo this year!!!

Since I’m getting bullied by someone....

Seriously though, I didn’t grab my target this year but barely missed MOA think by less than 1/10th.

However 2.3’s  intro to bolt guns group from last year (don’t let superJ bear you children) did get beat by a group on her target this year.

2019 SuperJ build, her first five shots ever on a bolt action.

I didn’t get a picture of her on the line in accordance with the rules so unless someone can hook me up I guess it doesn’t count?

GAP build 6.5C
LaRue Tranquilo
Leupold Mk5
Harris bipod
Armageddon Gear tear bag
130 ELDM, H4350, CCI200, running 2700fps on the nose.

And even though it’s been said, I’ll say it again. Thanks to all the sponsors, without this match I don’t think I’d see as much interest from my girls in shooting and for that I am forever thankful.

Try some center X. After testing just about all of the Eley line (including Tenex), I just don’t think that’s the ammo for the B14r’s.

I hated the BFL targets, so I made some of my own and it was fine. I think akethan has a link to my target in the OP, but being originally hosted on photobucket, it got messed up. I can dig for my version (black circles) if you'd like?
